![]() ![]() Now the channel mixer is, so to say, sold two times to the same customer (what has been there all the time in Filmpack has now been added to Photolab 7, or is there any difference?). Hence, old Filmpack owners would also get something new. If the color wheel can be added to local adjustments, it should also be possible to add the channel mixer. What is the option “only available in Filmpack 7, or higher”? I tried to see if you could do this with the brush, but didn’t find a way. Is it possible to somehow protect and area from being affected? It seems fairly common to have something in the area marked by the control line, that you do not want to change (as a tree against a sky). Would be nice if it could be toggled on and off (or maybe I haven’t found the button yet …). I recently tried PL6 with its DeepPRIME feature. I had tried an early version of PhotoLab but didn’t find it a big improvement over DOP 11. When moving to the side bar where the sliders now are located, the control line can no longer be seen on the screen. I have been a long time user of Nikon DSLRs and Dxo Optics Pro 11 Elite. The disappearing control line (control point etc). Some things seem a little bit strange, or then I just can’t figure out how to do it. So far it seems like the possibilities have increased, most notably the possibility of applying the color wheel locally (which I think is an improvement). I wish they put out a ‘cheat sheet’ for the various possibilities instead of having to fish around.I just downloaded Photolab 7 and have been testing the new local adjustment features (although I never had Photolab 6 I guess they are new). I like the transparency on the U point perhaps the next step is to be able to alocate the sliders one uses most and allow the user to reduce the numbers I certainly don’t use that many … maybe that is already possible. Personally I don’t like the floating panels they obscure too much of the image. ![]() I know it is a personal preference but at the very least they should state it somewher in the fancy promos they put out. For example I was not expecting the LA to be moved to the panel. ![]() But I am weary of them not being exact with how the UX is altered every time there is a new upgrade. I really do appreciate your replies not least because at the last major revamp DXO were not exactly informative and I ended up abandoning the platform for ON1 they also over wrote my previous version and it took a month of begging to get them to send me a link They finally fixed the Silver FX pretty much as I had suggested so I came back. ![]()
